We are proud to represent Rose Hill and Iffley, one of the most interesting wards in the city of Oxford. This website is intended to tell you what we are doing, and provide useful contact details if you have a suggestion or if things have gone wrong.
Your Labour team is working hard in our area. A new nursery has been built, providing affordable childcare and a permanent home for the community-centre run nursery. Streetwardens are now on the patch, in response to local concerns about anti-social behaviour. The streetsport site at the rec has been improved. The two empty houses on Nowell Road have been demolished and replaced with eco-homes. Rose Hill Parade benefits from new security gates installed at the shops, and it looks like all the shops will soon, at last, be tenanted.
But there is a lot more to do. There isn't enough for teenagers to do in the area. The parking arrangements around the parade are a mess. There are around 90 more houses needing redevelopment on the estate - and elderly people deserve a decent block of sheltered houses to replace Stephen Field House.
We hope you find this site interesting and useful, and would encourage you to get in touch if there is anything you would like to discuss with us, or which we can assist you with.
